I would like to once again wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year for 2011 and personally thank the Newcomers Network representatives in Australia, Ireland and the United Kingdom for all of their work this year.
We have some news. I will be hosting the final Welcome to Melbourne event tonight and the fifth Christmas Day Picnic Lunch on Saturday 25 December 2010 (details below).
In 2011, in keeping with the change across all of our locations, we will start hosting 'Living, Working and Networking in Melbourne' events on the second Thursday of the month
from 6pm - 7:30pm. These will be followed by general networking from 7:30pm onwards, so if you would like to join that part of the evening, please arrive between 7:30pm and 8:00pm.
The Welcome Home Party for Australian Expatriates and Repatriates is on the 29th of December. Please remember that everyone is welcome at all Newcomers Network events. Perth and Sydney are also hosting Picnic Lunches on Christmas Day.

Our fifth annual event where everyone is welcome (including local people without family or friends in Melbourne). Our fifth annual event held in conjunction with the Fun, Food and Friendship Social Group where we welcome Australians who have either returned to live or are visiting Melbourne for Christmas. Living, Working and Networking Second Thursday Monthly 13/01/11 6:00pm - 7:30pm at the Bar, Level 1, The Rendezvous Hotel, 328 Flinders Street, Melbourne hosted by Sue Ellson 0402 243 271 - a very informative session where you will meet new people and learn a lot about living, working and networking in Melbourne. There will be general networking from 7:30pm - 8:00pm onwards. You must register to attend as there is a maximum of 30 guests for the first part of the evening.
