8/5/09 Melbourne Event Reminder Newsletter

Online at http://www.newcomersnetwork.com/newsletters/090508_melbourne_event_reminder.php

Hello

This Sunday is Mother's Day in Australia - a good opportunity to remember our Mum's and their contribution to our lives!

You may also be interested in attending the Spanish Film Festival http://www.spanishfilmfestival.com or participating in National Reconciliation Week http://www.reconciliation.org.au/home/reconciliation-resources/nrw-resources

Seminars for Skilled Migrants looking for work are listed at http://www.liveinvictoria.vic.gov.au/seminars

Over the last two years I have been helping individual newcomers revise their resumes and find suitable work or business opportunities in Melbourne through my extensive network and direct telephone calls. If you or someone you know would like some personalised job search assistance, please reply to this email and I will send you some more information.

On Wednesday 6 May 2009, the Victorian International Human Resources Management (IHRM) Specialist Area of the Australian Human Resources Institute will be hosting an event providing guests with an update on Immigration and Employment Law and what Human Resources Managers can do about Swine Flu. As the event is already fully booked, if you would like to receive the notes from this presentation and be added to the IHRM mailing list, please reply to this email.

This Friday, I hope you can join the mixed group of regulars and newcomers at our monthly Welcome to Melbourne event.
