Christmas Day can be a lonely occasion if you are a long way away from family and friends.
The event is open to everyone - singles, couples and families. If you have the time available, you can attend for part or all of the event.
We also host free Living, Working and Networking in Perth events on the second Thursday of every month. See all upcoming events on the right hand side of every page of the Newcomers Network website.
3. Venue and time
12pm (midday) to 3:00pm (join us for any part of this time).
See the Transperth website for public transport details. On Christmas Day the Public Holiday Timetable is used and trains run every half hour.
Some car parks in the city may be closed on Christmas Day. More information on the City of Perth Parking information website - and of course, please do not drink and drive.
There is no cost to attend this event - please bring your own refreshments.
Bring your own food and drinks - that you may like to share with some other guests. Remember to keep certain foods cold (like chicken, meat, ham, dips etc using ice or icepacks). You may not be able to buy something to eat or drink close by.
You can bring alcohol if you wish (but please do not drink and drive).
