1. Links to event listings

This page lists a variety of links to where you can find details of events in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

If you have an event that you would like to promote, the link to either submit or post the event or an email to send your media release/event information sheet is also included.

Most of these listings are free and we cannot guarantee the nature of the events or if you will be allowed to publish your event on their listing.  However, if you would like to know more about a listed event, we would encourage you to telephone and speak to the organiser.

These listings are mostly generic style listings with a variety of events.  If you have a particular style of event that you are looking for - dance/music/theatre/sport for instance, then you may like to try an internet search with these individual words and then 'events, Brisbane' as well.  If you wish to follow a particular genre, consider subscribing to an email update or RSS feed.

Also look in printed publications including your local and daily newspapers as these usually have a feature on a regular basis.  If you are part of a club, professional association or ethnic group, you can also find out about events in these communities that may be both social and educational.

Our best advice though is that now that you are in Brisbane, try going out and enjoying yourself at a variety of events - and invite others to join you so that you can share the fun!
