Lily is the principal of a city law firm in Melbourne, Australia with a staff of 6.
Lily has a double degree in Economics and Law (Monash University) and is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria (LIV), sitting on its Committee of Sole Practitioners (Legal Management Section).
Lily has been practicing for about 20 years and has owned her own firm for over 10 of these years.
Originally from Malaysia, Lily's parents migrated to Sydney, New South Wales and she was admitted to practice in NSW at the end of 1989, having won a scholarship to work with Sydney firm Dunhill Morgan as a summer clerk before continuing with them as a first year solicitor.
Lily was admitted to practice in Victoria in 1992 after moving back to Melbourne to live. Lily then worked with a few small to medium practices before opening her own firm in 2000. She was registered as a Migration Agent in 1998.
Lily's work currently comprises a varied commercial practice with niche areas in Property Law, Immigration Law (business and skills migration) and supporting other commercial lawyers and accountants (including large practices) in these areas. She also practices as a commercial lawyer in the health sector and conducts litigation in Property Law, Immigration Law and Business Law matters regularly in the Supreme and Federal Courts of Australia.
Lily enjoys strategic alliances with other firms and networks that enable her to provide business services and opportunities for her professional and business clients.
Lily is an active member of the community and has written articles as well as appeared on guest programs over the past 20 years.
She is a Specialist accredited in the area of Immigration Law by the Law Institute of Victoria.
